Artificial Intelligence and Robots
Two new reports from Lloyds - the world's specialist insurance market

I recently had the pleasure of helping write two new reports which have just been published by Lloyd's. The reports examine how artificial intelligence and robots are creating new risks and opportunities for the insurance sector and society at large. Whilst focused on the the insurance market in general, and Lloyd's market in particular, these reports are valuable to a wider audience looking to gain a richer appreciation of the risks and opportunities that are offered by robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).
Taking control: artificial intelligence and insurance
This report identifies four risks areas for AI: trust and transparency, ethics, security and safety.
Taking control: robots and risk
In the future millions of jobs could be taken over by increasingly sophisticated robots or cobots (“collaborative robots”), according to various predictions.
